Suicide Squad

Leto is a fantastic choice for the Joker, but that look is terrible. They really should have kept trying with the design.

dat Harley Quinn tho

I don't really care all too much what he looks like, but from the brief glimpse of him in the trailer, it seems like Leto is finding the perfect middle ground between a straight comic book impersonation and Ledger's grounded/realistic Joker.

Jared Leto is going to kill it as the Joker. Don't know to be more excited for this or Batman v Superman.

For me, it's this. They can screw it up, but it has a chance to be an interesting character-driven movie. My concern is maybe they're introducing too many characters at once. That could make it difficult to care about all of them.
I get the feeling Batman vs. Superman is just going to be another disaster porn movie. Man of Steel bordered on unwatchable for me.

If he's as good throughout the movie as he was in that little clip, I think he's going to be the best Joker ever, from an acting standpoint. He's already the worst Joker ever from a design standpoint, which is a big part of this character. That's no fault of his, though.

I'm a little bit more excited for BvS but this looks just as good. I'm just glad that both BvS and Suicide Squad have that dark gritty tone to it unlike those Marvel movies

Not to derail the Suicide Squad thread, but I'm really excited for Deadpool. Saw a cellphone vid of the trailer they showed at ComiconSD and it looks great.

There is a theory that Jerrod is not actually the joker, but robin who has been beaten and when insane, hence on the outfit in the trailer with the phrase the joke is on you, that reference a comic in which this exact thing happened. Which would also explain the tattoos etc. Also the phrase that he says in the preview is the same thing that the Joker says to robin before torturing him.

If Jerrod is not the joker it will make me happy due to the idea of the joker sitting still for all those hours for tattoos would not really fit his character.
