RednScarlet

Four-Star Recruit
What are your plans for concerts this summer?

My list so far, subject to work schedule:

Steve Miller Band

Alison Krauss and Union Station

Steely Dan

Return to Forever

Zappa plays Zappa

Larry Carlton

As some of us married guys do, the wife wants to go to the Journey/Foreigner/Night Ranger show.

Not really my cup of tea, but if she cuts me loose for the others, small price to pay...

Going to Mayhem Fest in Denver in July.

That includes: Disturbed, Godsmack, Megadeth, Machine Head, In Flames, Trivium, Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish, Straight Line Stitch, Unearth, Kingdom of Sorrow, and Red Fang.

This will be my first "real" concert. Should be interesting.

Nothing like a good ole mega concert.

In my younger days I could handle the crowds; harder now.

Should be a lot of energy with that lineup.

Hope your "1st" is a great one!

RED up in yankton june 4th, then once again june 5th in cedar falls

Warped tour (probably two dates), mainly to see FF5, ADTR, Relient K, TWDP, ABR and a few others

Sonshine Festival in the middle of July.

Lifelight Festival in September.

Mayhem Fest was unreal!

We missed a couple of the opening bands, but the rest was just amazing!

We got into the pit for Unearth, which was soooo intense. Just an awesome, awesome experience.

I'm not a big Godsmack fan, but they absolutely blew my mind! They had a part with dueling drum sets that was so, so sick.

Megadeth still has it. I'm really glad I got to see them before they decide to hang it up.

Disturbed was great too. Just a ton of intense energy all day long!

sounds like it was a good show! Sully Erna from Godsmack is an amazing drummer, it is pretty sweet when they do the dueling drums. I always wanted to see Megadeth, glad to hear they still got it.

C-Bear and I saw Big and Rich, Gretchen Wilson and Cowboy Troy in Deadwood, SD last weekend. Two and a half hours of non-stop kick a$$ good time!!!

Went to the Night Ranger and Journey concert last night in Omaha. It was a great show. Although, I'm a bit biased when it come to Steve Perry, the new singer was actually very good. All around, it was a solid show. I wish I could have made the 311 and Sublime concert tonight, but my funds are lacking!

The Big 4 (Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica)

And then, One of the greatest 4 day weekends (for me at least) ever....

Thursday Sept 22nd Opeth

Friday Sept 23rd Descendents

Saturday Wyo Game

Sunday Sept 25th Enslaved

i havent seen too many concerts in a while.....

i usually see bands that come to town which isnt an awful lot unless you like reggae......

saw steel pusle for like the the 10th time a month or two ago

i saw jenny lewis a bit ago too.....

before that i saw the pixies in raleigh nc ( which featured the most erotic and most gorgeous female dancing i've ever seen, every guy was stadning there looking at her up on the second floor baclony as she shimmed and grinded to the pixies in such a magnificent way..unblieveable) and then morrissey in south carolina

Thinking about taking my Son to see Red Line Chemistry Saturday night for a $10 "Low-Dough-Show"..

Anyone know the story about their name..I just found out They're from the KC area. (Maybe some Big Red fans?)

The first dozen or so times I heard this on the radio, I thought it was from the new Alice In Chains album.

Just remembered I have tix to Poison and Motley Crue on Aug 7 :horns2 Bring on the mullets, stone washed jeans and 40 yr old chix flashing! chuckleshuffle
