Huskers hoping for healthy returns

They all went down at different times and with different injuries. They should all be back when Nebraska starts spring football practice next month. And now that signing day has come and gone - and speculation starts dying down as far as which recruit fits where - it's more practical to consider the immediate impact that tight end Matt Herian, linebacker Steve Octavien and offensive guard Andy Christensen can make for the Huskers.

It was in the World Herald today that Lucky is rehabbing from elbow surgery but should be ready to go for Spring drills.

Kurt Mann, Jordan Picou, Newt Lingenfelter (all offensive lineman) , Brandon Jackson, Nick Covey, and Tony Sullivan are all ruled out for spring practice.

Stewart Bradley and Bo Ruud will do what they can.
