surprise that first game not on network TV

It does not surprise me at all that Fox skipped it and moved it to PPV. Remember, Fox has the PPV rights too. They expect to make more money on the PPV than they would have on a regular broadcast.

That is a good point. I am not sure that it is good for Broadcast, outside of Husker nation not many people will want to see it, and the die-hards who can't make the game because of geography would most likely pay up to see it, as everyone who is a big fan wants to see the "new and improved" Bo version...

 
This game will not be close. The Huskers will dominate from the get go and we will wear them down and it could get ugly by the end of the 3rd qtr.
