Survey on Memorial Stadium "Modernization"

I'd put decks/platforms in at least part of the south stadium.  That's where I'd sell the booze.  You could have sections that are reserved like a boxes, and other sections for the common folk peasants.

The rest of the stadium I'd make the seats wider.  Take the capacity down to about 70-75 while improving the atmosphere.

Make a gastric bypass candidate section where the seats are 4' wide.  Motorized cart access like Walmart.  Would also need locations to abandon the carts when you're done.
Agree that the South Stadium needs to be redone. Chop off about half of the rows, and create a beer garden/party deck in that end of the end zone.

2 years ago we were supposed to be getting escalators and some giant glass thing. What happened to that?

A concourse around the upper endzone seats is really needed. There's no concessions or restrooms without having go down 80+ steps and back. Blocking everyone's view of the goal post along the way.

Got my survey. It asks if you're a season ticket holder, your annual donation amount, and some other stuff. One of the pages asks you to rate these categories from 1 (very dissatisfied) to 7 (very satisfied).

I've put a lot of 1's & 2's on this page.

WHY WOULD YOU PUT OXYGEN IN THE BALLOONS, THEY WOULDN'T FLOAT AWAY

....not that we've had many reasons to release balloons lately...
I'm thinking the oxygen under the seats is for when you climbed 90 rows of stairs to get to your seat after drinking heavily at the tailgate.

I'm supposed to pick three of these that are most in need of enhancement. Limiting this to only three is tough.

Time it takes to enter the stadium
Concourse circulation
Quantity of restrooms
Quality/cleanliness of restrooms
Number of concession areas
Quality of concession offerings
Variety of concession offerings
Seat Comfort
Technology (i.e. video boards, sound system, etc.)
Enhanced Huskers Mobile App content & engagement
Wi-Fi/mobile connectivity
More seating located under cover
Time it takes to exit the stadium
Parking lot entry/exiting
Parking lot traffic
Traffic control
Time it takes to exit campus after the game

Even though I love game day in Lincoln and going to games at Memorial Stadium, I would have a hard time putting more than a 2 on most of those.

I feel that we need more trough-style urinals and closer seating. Maybe some automatic lift bleacher seats and Geritol so the blue hairs will finally stand up and be loud.

Also another large television display over the South End...or at least make the smaller ones look better and widescreen.

These would be my top three.  I lumped the bolded all into one.  No reason why they can't do all three.  If you're going to increase the number, you will have more room to improve the quality and variety.  And, you're going to sell more because you're cycling more people through faster.  Win win for everyone.

Uh-oh. Anyone who has grandfathered cheap tickets...

There are a number of loyal supporters whose seats are subject to a grandfathered policy that has allowed them to maintain their location without a pricing adjustment. It is possible that Nebraska Athletics could eliminate these grandfathered seat policies and require all season ticket holders in similar sections to pay the same donation.

Implementing a seat equity plan could lower the average investment level for all but may displace some of these loyal supporters with grandfathered seat policies. How would you describe your attitude towards a future seat equity plan at Memorial Stadium?

I went to the Nebraska basketball game at NC State and I was pretty impressed with variety of food they were offering.  It didn't appeal to me because I'll eat whatever, but I could see where that could be something people may complain about.
