I have read the link of info for gameday and have come up with some good ideas on tailgating for the season. I was curious where everyone will be tailgating this Saturday. A friend of mine hooked me up with Miller Lite tailgate passes for this week. Never been there before. Has anyone ever been to it and is it a good time? From what I understand it is free beer and food so I already think it will be a good time but just wanting others thoughts and opinions.

You will see it. They bring in a big inflatable miller light, and have flags and all that jazz. Never been in there though. Looks like a solid time.

Don't think I've ever been there. I'm told we have passes to the one in the Journal Star parking lot. Was just wondering if that was where yours is.

Never been there, however I drove by the res the other day and they were setting up porta potties, I thought they announced it was closed as a tailgating spot but who knows now

i have a similar question i have an rv and a bunch of us would like to tailgate somewheres close to the stadium with it...any ideas where and is there such a thing as buying a parking pass for an rv ??

Lot #7 typically has several RV's in it. Pretty sure it's all reserved, but you could call down there. (Map)huskerfritz said:

North of the Devaney Sports Center (Top of map) there's a large field for tailgating too. Not sure if they allow RV's though.
Edit: Directly North of the stadium there are two yellow lots (11 & 11). To the North of those, some of the private homes might let ya park an RV in their driveway or yard. Might cost $30-50 bucks, but worth a try. I've parked there in the past for around $10 in a SUV.
On a side note, how is there not a sticky for parking, restaurants, bars, tailgates, traffic, etc? Every year it seems like the same questions get asked over and over...

For all you minors that maybe going to the res, watch yourselves. I've heard that they will be cracking down more on underage drinking this year. And for everyone; if you watch the news at all you should know that they are stepping things up as far as drinking and driving for the labor day weekend, like they do every year.
