Tangent Thread - Lifetime Edition

I know you are but what am I? Wow such juvenile nonsense- what are you in the 7th grade home on spring break?

So If I dont care- do I say I really do care? Please let me know

Please tell me what I should think and what to say- and Ill regurgitate that for you right away and refrain from having my own opinion

i guess that would make you happy

Your inside knowledge of the art and science of tackling is all fine and good, but you clearly have no interest in a constructive dialogue with anyone else, you seem to be a very unhappy and bitter person, and you have repeatedly shown that you don't care if your posts are even readable.

So let me ask you: why are you here? Are you getting some sort of joy from being so insufferable?

I’m not coaching him up

im commenting on an internet board

and I’m negative on the way he tackled last year

does anyone really think this kid is even in the 35th percentile for tackling in this league ?

Commented on the video i saw in this thread which looked like more of the same from last year

which wasn’t good

I’ve coached over 25 years and attended dozens of clinics

im not coaching him face to face

Im commenting on a board

to critique you the exact same way  you did me

if you knew anything about tackling or had coached or taken many tackling classes you would have known his tackling attempt was terrible
Did he stand up your daughter for prom or what?  Jeez...

So you do care.
According to Websters- not at all- unless you know more than Websters. If Im wrong about this- please let me and Websters know  :

Question
How do I know when to use "couldn't care less" and when to use "could care less" if I don't care at all about something? Which one is the correct sentence? — Koustav , India
Answer
If you say you "couldn't care less" about something, it means you do not care about it at all. You cannot care less than you do. Below are some examples of how the phrase is used:

  • Sherry couldn't care less what restaurant they go to. [=she does not care at all what restaurant they go to]
  • The man said he couldn't care less who his children marry as long as they are happy. [=he does not care who his children marry. He only cares that they are happy]

Sometimes you will hear people say "could care less" in the same way. Below are some examples of this:

  • could care less if you leave.
  • She can order whatever she wants; her date could care less.

English teachers and grammarians will say that "could care less" is wrong because it should mean the opposite of "couldn't care less." Logically, if you could care less, it means you do care some. But in informal speech people often use "could care less" to mean they don’t care at all.

No not at all

Im changing my opinion

How does this work for you:

THis player is the best DB in the Country-

He is an amazing tackler and cover man- all of our players should tackle as well as he does. If we do that we shut everyone out

He is a gentleman and a scholar and never ever makes mistakes, let alone consistent mistakes on the football field
He gets straight As as a Physics major,  walks grandmas across the parking lot, volunteers at the mission

If that doesnt work for you- pm me and I will give you my password so you can edit my post and opinion to match yours   I will choose not to have an opinion and just say whatever you think I should say.

Heaven forbid a player not play well in several facets of his game on a consistent basis and someone points it out on an internet forum about husker football- which I thought was about discussing Husker football. Not calling the player names or cursing him out mind you or even putting out sarcastic memes about him- just simply discussing factually and technically about his play.

He doesn’t seem to be taking the hint to shut up about something if it’s been moved. I suppose I’m guilty of that sometimes but I’m doing it right this time.

and what a moron. This quote says he’s wrong. Just because people use it informally doesn’t mean it’s correct.

I don’t care so much about that. It was just hilarious how he flipped out at BRB because he was too stupid to get it.

Now you are just being a troll. You were using incorrect grammar, it happens.

Finally, paragraph form, OT.

I don’t care if it’s a copy and paste.

I gave you a trophy.

Don’t let it go to waste.

That makes at least 2 people who posted for the first time ever just to tell OT he’s annoying.

Assuming this guy isn’t a formerly banned.
His current account makes it fairly traceable to see who he is in real life, so he's either a) moonlighting as someone else or b) his initial banned account was his sock and now he's using his legit account! That'd be a doozy.
