Taylor: 'It's the most fun I've had!'

Not very fast, not the strongest arm out there but the heart of a lion and the football smarts you look for in a QB. This is one player that we will miss and will be remembered. his leadership will be missed and I hope the crowd gives him one hell of a send off in his last home game.

Thank You Zach Taylor, You are Husker football inside and out.

He is pretty slow when it comes to scrambling!!!! To have only thrown 4 INT's so far this season that shows you how smart he is with the ball.......... :thumbs

ZT has slowly proven to the NU fans that this offense will work. His leadership on the field and his ability to stay calm is something that you cannot coach. I can't think of a better person to have to help make this adjustment for the fans. He is simply amazing!

I would say Taylor is as much to blame for the program getting back on track as Callahan is....i sure in the hell dont think Joe D could have got us back on track and in the Direction we needed to be headed.

I love this guy, and will be sad to see him leave. He is the qb that other wco guys will be measured against imo. The toughness and leadership he shows is incredible.

I would love to see him end his career on a high note and it starts with blowout win over Colorado in which he will throw for 400 yards and 7 touchdowns...haha

:yeah Straight up, on-the-money. :thumbs

Zac is the man. Can you imagine what he would have accomplished at SC or Texas. Thank god BC knew we needed him and got him to come here.

It is obvious BC knows what is needed in a QB. But without this kid, we would not be talking Big12 Championship. We most likely would be talking new coach. This kid has not only saved the program and garnered support and respect for it, but he has saved this coaching staff. From everything you hear and read about him, he is just as great of person as he is a QB. Thanks Zac, we will always be in debt to your loyalty, dedication and talent.

:yeah A toast to ZT :cheers

in so far as raw talent, i'm sure there are better quarterbacks out there. but when it comes to heart and leadership, nobody... and i mean NOBODY out can compete with Zac Taylor.

he's the stick that all nebraska QBs will be measured against.
Much like some great NFL quaterback. Joe Montana comes to mind. Not the brilliant passing arm, just someone who 10 other guys would follow into hell and back.

He has set an example for the younger QBs to follow. That will be an even bigger legacy than the passing record or the great ending to the aTm game.

:corndance
