Apparently, he called into a Denver CO radio station this morning and slammed NU, Pederson, and Callahan. Says he has over 600 e-mails from former Husker players complaining about SP and BC.

This is the same guy that scamed a bunch of Husker fans with tickets last year.

I assume you mean "Tough" Tony Davis. I'm sure there are plenty of former players that weren't to happy with 5-6 and the way Frankie was handled. I'm also sure there are plenty that think it should of been done and that the future could be better.

I would guess Davis loved Frankie. He let Josh Davis START at I-Back. :wacko:

He is a former Husker and entitled to his opinion, but consider the source. I remember that ticket scam he was involved with 2 years ago and my respect for him is pretty close to nill at this point.

Either way, screwing fans out of tickets is not cool. Sure he can have his opinion and everything, but you start losing credibility when you start acting like a TOOL.

I have to agree with you there, Tough Tony certainly does have a serious credibility problem, so one would have to consider the source.

Sad, sad, sad. Tough Tony was THE MAN back in the early 70's. Great game against UCLA. There was no bigger fan favorite--none. How the mighty Tony has fallen. Hope he gets straight some day.
