TE Beau Sandland [Miami Commit]

The coaches must think he is ours. They haven't offered any additional tight ends since Bo's visit to Nebraska. They also turned down Jon Wisnieski when he wanted to commit, telling him to wait it out. The fact that we only have one un-committed offered Tight End right now with a desperate need for a good one next year means the coaches either know we have him or are pretty confident we have him.

 
Also, Beau has collectively stated what he is looking for in a program:

- coaching staff that works well together and coaches well

- good people to be around

- balanced offense... he would like to see 60-40 pass-run.

- solid use of TE's

- open depth chart

- shallow roster with need for immediate playmaker

- proven development of players to NFL

- good academics and support

Things he doesn't care about:

- facilities

- campus beauty

- night life

- big city with lots to do

I'm starting to get the feeling that ASU may be a bigger threat right now, he had a great visit to them.

I was simply paraphrasing a quote he had when he went to visit OU. He said that it didn't bother him if the school wasn't in a big city with a good nightlife or much to do because he was there to focus on football and knew he would be busy 24/7 with that. I think this kid has an incredible work ethic.

 
If he wants to live in Ceresco fine. Teasing of course. Like any Husker fan I want him wearing scarlet and cream next year.

Yes it is. My niece and her family live there. :D A nice place if Beau wants the quiet life.
