To which school will Loftin commit?

Interesting development...I will say this: Norvell won't get fired, simply because he is owed $63 million if FSU gives him the axe. He signed a massive extension before the 2024 season with a huge buyout clause. I don't think even the boosters down in Tallahassee would feel comfortable forking over that kind of money.

Man, those are insane numbers. Not sure I can see school considering it until that $27.7 million number, but if they don't seriously rebound you can't let him go 4 more years to get to that.

Amazed this Loftin kid is still committed to FSU.  Norvell had one year primarily led by a QB, who once was injured the team fell apart.  Like how Milton carried Frost.  FSU?  Chicks?  NIL?   :dunno

I don't think he's still committed to FSU, just won't bother to announce the decommitment before committing elsewhere (hopefully here).

Wondering if we'll see a similar Jimbo situation, but I agree. It'd be the second biggest buyout after Jimbo at A&M.

Found it interesting that Norvell said he'd heavily lean on the portal after their portal failure this year.

Dittman thinks he’s coming, but it may not be until after the early recruiting date. That Hawaiian.DB who  appeared to be headed to N was offered more NIL money from California U which changed everything.
