Why would an offensive player want to play for iowa?
Iowa averaged 28 points per game this year.
Nebraska averaged 23.8.
Glass houses and all.

He is a TE. NE 230 passing per game & Iowa 126. Not saying NE, but unless I was a rb, Iowa is not a good landing spot or wr / TE.

He being in Ames is a bigger thing than Iowa city IMO. How the Clones use their TEs in vertical routes and motions is a thing of beauty. Ben Brahmer from Pierce will be a big part of their offense next year after being hurt this year.

Iowa, as much as it seems to be going away, still has the reputation as TE University. LaPorta I think will be the last of the great ones, at least as far as I have seen.

I would think so. Iowa obviously played on Friday and Iowa State played on Saturday.
