That's odd, MInnesota not exactly a power house, isn't even recruiting one of the higher profile guys in their own state, yet Wisconsin, Nebraska and Boston College are. :blink:

Minnesota has 6 TE's on the roster this year. 3 freshman, 1 junior and 2 seniors. The 3 freshman are 6-5, 6-4, and 6-3 respectively and junior Matt Spaeth is 6-6 and has been all big10 the last 2 years. Minnesota is a more of a run based offense then a passing offense. A guy like Jordan isn't going to get many catches in Minnesota's offense and Minnesota has enough depth at that position the next 2 years in Matt Spaeth and the 3 other freshman. That's why they haven't offered. Actually Minnesota hasn't offered a single TE this season

I knew this was going to happen... This guy was way to high on NU and Oklahoma to just disappear into Illini country. I was so shocked when that was announced. He will either be a Husker or a Sooner, and this visit will be huge.

 
Is only taking 3 visits (Oklahoma, Boston College, Nebraska) and then will make his decision. On a scale of 1-10 on whether he ends up a husker, i put him at a 9.8 right now

Everytime you come up with a new visit I think of what you said: Roughly 50% of the players that visit will commit.

Good point there, I think. On the topic though, I think this guy would be a nice snag. We are weak at TE for sure, and this guy seems like a beast. Though, I would like to see his stats as far as dropped balls go, because that is one thing we don't need, is another kid dropping balls all over the place.

Good vibes coming from this kid. Lets hop he is smart enough to not let some coaches whisper in his ear. The way our TE's have been playing, this kid is a lock for NU. His visit could harm us in 1 way though. He might look at our gameplan and see us not using the TE much this weekend and it could backfire or he could say "wow, i could start or get some serious playing time"
