He produced at Houston and upped their talent level in year 1 on the job. Pretty safe pick that he does well in a pedestrian Big 12.

Isn't that exactly what Strong did at Louisville? Things didn't go so great for him. I think Herman will be alright at UT but things aren't as automatic as some make them out to be.

Yes, that's my point and against much tougher competition too boot.

 
There is just as much of a chance Herman ends up like Strong as there is he ends up like Brown.

Throw away a free education kid... I just dont get it...

Plenty of kids would kill to be in his spot and he just threw it all away for some side cash.
