I was just notified that one of my biotech stocks (INCYTE) is about to undergo a Dutch Auction, and I need to let them know what I'd like to do about it. 

Given my complete lack or understanding, I'm going with "nothing."

Wow...wish I would have known.  Wonder what was going on.  Or, was it a malfunction somehow in the trading programing?It's back up to where it was.  That would have been a nice $612,000 profit.  (Looking at class A shares)

yeah...it was a glitch.  still would have been nice to get a share or 2 at that price.  lol

So, if it was a glitch and someone did buy at that price, I wonder if the trade us null and void?

i doubt it would be valid due to the glitch but really don't know

Turns out it would not be a valid purchase

It would be fun to do it so you could screenshot your account balance, even though they would take it away.

You wouldn’t be able to keep the profit.  It would be clawed back based on the trade being based on a glitch.
