Tech Desk Help - How to Save, embed GIFs in emails, etc

I have an animated gif saved to my desktop and set the default program to internet explorer so when I click on it, it works. However, when I try to embed it in an email with text the gif file, it automatically attaches it as a still photo. Anyone know how to save gifs so they can be used for emails, forum posts, etc?

Ok the forum post worked but what about emails?

I figured out how to embed it in an email but it is still a still pic. I don't think it is possible in Outlook 2007

It will be rendered only as a "still" image. However, if you send it to someone who uses an email client that displays GIFs, they should see it as a GIF. The problem is that Outlook itself no longer displays GIFs. To do that, the person using Outlook must use the "Open in Browser" option. Microsoft made that change to increase the security of Outlook.
