When I first saw this, I thought..."well, wasn't he already in the portal"?  But, is this an indication that his pro prospects aren't looking good?

Think its more he's just keeping all of his options open

He will no have problem going over to Europe and finding a place to play.  As someone else mentioned, he's probably just keeping his options open and figuring out what is best for his family (he has 2 small children).

Teddy had over half of NMSU's points.  He was dominant on the offensive end.  When Teddy Buckets has it going, he's an amazing scorer.

Tbf, West Virginia and New Mexico State are the only 2 schools where leaving seems to be solely his decision. He was kicked off of Wichita State, his juco year was his 3rd year in school, and leaving NU seems to be a mutual decision.
