Tennessee to hire Callahan

AS much as Billy C is hated by Husker Nation the man is an offensive genius. His system is just NOT fit in the college game. As an OC for the Raiders they did well, then he took them to the Super Bowl as a HC and fell victim to the teams ex coach who they traded for if im not mistaken. I wish the man the best of luck.

On a side note...dont we have an upcoming non conference game with Tenn in a few years?

 
Yea apparently we play Tennesse on Septemer 10, 2016 and September 9, 2017 per the Huskers.com website.

We play UCLA in 2012 and 2013, if anyone was interested.

thing is he would not be the primary play caller: kiffin the junior has said that would be his roll. if callahan ends up in k-ville, he'll be primarily a position coach who assists with game planning.

billy c. at nebraska was kinda like wild e. coyote: yes, he was a 'super-genius' but there was more than one occasion where his brilliant game plan didn't keep up with the reality of the game.
