Terence Crawford

Watching him fight Madrimov at 154, and I don't think he fair too well at 168 against Alvarez.

I mostly agree with this, I think the one thing that "helps" Bud against Alvarez is Canelo's more of a traditional fighter.  Madrimov did a lot of dekes, moved his head a lot and moved his feet a lot, and was the most patient I've ever seen a fighter against Bud. These are things that Canelo doesn't do to the same level. So I think Bud could get a better handle on Alvarez, I don't think Bud can handle the power of Alvarez.  He'd have to have a perfect fight for 12 rounds to out-point Canelo, because if Canelo connects, Bud will be counting stars.

Boxing superstar Terence Crawford said Wednesday he rejected a deal to fight UFC great Conor McGregor because he didn't want to participate in a mixed martial arts fight.

In separate interviews, Crawford and McGregor revealed that Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, had offered them a two-fight agreement, with one in boxing and the other in MMA. McGregor said they would have been paid "hundreds of millions."

But while McGregor was ready to compete in both sports, Crawford declined.

"They offered me the fight," the four-division champion said in an interview with Bernie Tha Boxer. "Me and Conor got on the phone and started politicking to try and figure something out. Man, I'm not getting in no f---ing Octagon with you so you can be kicking and elbowing me!"

Dannen said he has reached out to Crawford's people and he has a "standing offer" to fight in Memorial Stadium.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea. Crawford had trouble with Madrigal at 154. He'll have to do his best Floyd Mayweather imitation to beat Alverez at 168.
