Usually it is just POY.

Never seen it used as that acronym. Always seen is as POTY.

He struggled a bit with shooting this last few weeks but deserves to be on the all B1G team.

Consideration yes, but I don't believe he will or "should" win. As a Sophomore, he has plenty of time to sharpen his game and be a quality player down the stretch as well. Not saying he isn't a quality player, but he wasn't what he has been these past few games.

I'm guessing Satuskas gets POTY then since he was the only unanimous pick for both coaches and media

Who would be in more trouble? Michigan without Stauskas? Or Nebraska without Petteway? Not saying this answers the question, but this no-brainer certainly tells a little story.

Again.. it isnt a MVP award... it is best player award.

Michigan has other talent... doesnt take away from what he has done.

I understand the intent. but still, that's like saying they'll give a Heisman trophy to a player on a mediocre team.
