Terran Petteway has a tough decision to make, and some people here and other places have made comments about wanting TP to move on.

So, I am curious... Go on the record:

Do you think TP will play for Nebraska next season?

Do you want TP with this team next year?

Explain your answer above.

If you are a Husker Basketball Fan...you 100% should want him back.

Look...I know the guy is a super spaz and a turnover machine...BUT...that is on Miles to coach that out of him.

Calpo gets SUPER high ego guys with all sorts of craptastic attitudes and he beats it out of them...so does every other coach that is recruiting and getting high level players.

With that said...if I am TP...I do a grad-transfer and get the hell out of Nebraska where many fans have already kind of soured on him. I transfer over to Baylor...get on a real team...make the dance and head off to play in the D-league or overseas making 5K a week with no expenses at all.

Petteway is too talented for NU fans to not want him back. He is too good of a scorer to just push out the door. Miles has to figure out a way to make him work on the roster, and Petteway needs to figure out to not be such a head case and make bonehead plays each game.

Yes & Yes- I think the addition of a very good shooting guard as White and the return of Smith- should lesson the pressure and free up the offense a bit on TP. Maybe Webster has a break out year too. I want to be optimistic about our chances next year- should be a top 30 team.

Agree with the post (earlier) of every play has TP handling the ball. Nebraska is too easy to design a defense around them... TP is not ready for NBA in my opinion. Another year would be beneficial to him and us. Get your graduate degree and get better at the game.

I would like him back. Like today, it easy to get frustrated when you get very little help from your teammates when you are 1 of 2 scorers. River is a good athlete, but does not have it upstairs. Benny could not score and made more mistakes than pluses. Big guys were absent most of the year. Sure hard to have fun with this bunch. If he has any relationship with White, he might be back.

Keep TP and bag Miles. But hey I guess 9 game losing streaks in the B1G is ok with Husker basketball fans.

I don't pretend to know near as much about basketball as I do football. But from what I could tell his stock plummeted this year, I really don't think he has much of a choice but to come back.

Do I want him to come back? Yes. He's a good ball player. I think he struggled a lot due to his mom's battle with cancer. I know that would make me struggle no matter what I was doing.

I think he has a better year next year, maybe not as good as his soph. year, he'll never sneak up on anyone anymore, he'll always get the focus now, but I think he'll get better at handling it.

I hate to say it but hindsight being 20/20 his best chance to jump might have been after his soph. year, maybe when he realized this halfway through our season that added even more weight on him.

Fire Tim Miles after this season, and you will not be able to find anyone to replace him... EVER.

Tim Miles lost this team this year and it was a bad bad bad year for him, but firing Tim Miles causes so many more issues.

The team adds talent next year, but we need to find an assistant coach who can create a decent game plan.

It starts off with a PG who can distribute the ball.

It also requires guys who are willing to go get rebounds.

Our offensive scheme isnt allowing for us to get open looks... lets fix that.

Now...I don't think they are close to Firing Miles...but they would have zero probably getting a coach.

Remember...the contract they sign is guaranteed...

Miles signed a 7-year contract when he was hired. He isn't getting fired this year. If the team struggles again next season, his seat will be really hot.

I disagree with this... I think if he struggles next year, the seat will get warm but what he did last year buys him 3 bad years.

No and no. He will be 24 years old when the season starts. It's clear that Miles couldn't reach him this year. I don't think he will help the team at all next year.
