Terry Bradden Fired

Looks like we just got Lonnie Teasley. Sounds like the verdict on him is he's an absolutely elite recruiter but was terrible as a developer.

So we got Geep to coach the guys up as an elite developer and Teasley to get them here. Wow.

I feel like this would at least be better in the Geep thread, lol.

Apparently positive movement today for Robinson, but there's a lot of competition for his services. From On3 LSU:

Syracuse defensive line coach Elijah Robinson has not signed to become LSU’s next defensive line coach, nor has he agreed to terms verbally, multiple sources said on Tuesday evening. I On Friday, I told The Bengal Tiger members there had been nothing signed despite reports spreading that Robinson had hired. Now, the notion of Robinson to LSU being a done deal is clearly far from the truth. There have been reports on Robinson receiving interest from Penn State and Nebraska, but keep an eye on Texas A&M. There is chatter around College Station on exploring a path to getting Robinson on staff with the Aggies, sources said. With multiple options, including a potential return to Syracuse, Robinson has plenty of suitors.

Remember that A&M is where he was prior to Syracuse, albeit under Jimbo Fisher.

Not sure why we couldn't find another role for him if he's supposed to be the key to recruiting Kansas City.
Interesting. However, thought Mozee takes care of St.Louis, KC and parts of Missouri.

It's not like having to cover the entire state of Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma with one person. But that Just my guess.

Mozee's strong ties takes care of KC, but not sure how much it would help him in the Lou. Whole different set of HS coaches over their that run the show.

Jamar had coached 6A in Missouri for awhile, was well thought of, took a doormat of a program in LS and turned it into a state title contender (which I’m sure other large class STL coaches took notice of) and also connections are made through state football coaching conventions etc... I’m quite certain he has earned the respect of those STL HS coaches enough to get in the door and talk to their recruits while having those HS coaches tell the recruits he is legit.

KC and St Louis are different places. KC publics have been dominant for a long time. Very successful schools with a ton of parody within the leagues. Class 6 winner this year lost the first 4 games of the year against other KC teams. Won 10 straight and won a title without even having a QB. Crazy run they had. He is very respected by HS coaches in KC. St Louis is like a different state. They have no competitive Public Schools and the only competitive schools are private. The rise and fall of teams in St louis is like a 3 or 4 year cycle. A Super team will pop up, win a couple titles, and then the Coach and players and are gone and it is on to the next private school. CBC, Desmet, Lutheran North, Chaminade, Trinity Catholic, Cardinal ritter, and St Marys are all teams that have won big time at the State level. Some of those schools have dropped their football programs after a few years or will have to completely rebuild it from the ground up after a cycle. You want to tap into those schools you better have a connection with their coaching staff. Coaches from those teams have won big and then ended up coaching at P4 schools with all of their connections to athletes in the Lou. Any D1 coach going into a place will have the ear of the coaches, but it is an uphill battle to sign them without direct connections. Missouri struggled for a long time getting athletes from St Louis to stay in state. They have done a much better job recently.
