Texas perspective......

Comish

All-Conference
Just for some perspective on the job Coach Mills is doing…….

Texas has inarguably a greater basketball history than Nebraska

Texas has inarguably greater basketball talent than Nebraska

Texas plays inarguably in a lesser basketball conference than Nebraska

Yet …………Texas holds the exact same record (14-16) than Nebraska.

I guess you could argue what (if anything) this means…….

But I would suggest that if you are doing more with less in a tougher league………

Miles might be out-coaching Barnes…

And Nebraska's SOS is higher than Texas', according to Sagarin. We've played, according to Sagarin, the fifth-toughest schedule in the country this year. Texas' schedule ranks in at #21.

Overall, the Big Ten is the toughest conference according to Sagarin's ratings, while the Big XII is #3.

So I'd agree - Miles is doing a pretty good job thus far.

Well Knapp. According to self proclaim basketball doctor Jay Bilas, the Big 10 is not better. Everyone else is just a little down. . These were his exact words on Mike and Mike today.

This year Miles has definitely outcoached Barnes. Not impressed with what Barnes did this year at all.

Just before tip-off vs. tosu, it's justifiable to be able to say this ...............As of this moment............... Nebraska's season is still alive while Texas is DONE !

(That's a sentence that has been dormant for a loooong time)

Strange thought, but I think tim miles himself is the reason why the huskers will be succesful down the road. He just has the type of character l/demeanor that make players want to compete and succeed.

I know I would be pumped if I had the chance to play for tim miles
