That last Oregon Play??

I can't believe they didn't use their timeouts. It was either a kind of classy move or they were so befuddled that they limped out of lincoln.
I was surprised by this as well. Considering anything could've happened during those snaps, like this...

For the entire game, we let their average QB get out of trouble by scrambling. That play we brought more guys and he didn't get away. It could've easily been the 'prevent' rush with our guys getting held like it was much of the game and he could've scrambled out again. They should call that guy Jimmy Scrambles.

Our receivers were being held or hit before the ball got there as well until the refs finally started calling it. Oregon fans complaining about the refs should look at the film and ask themselves if their players are coached to be all over the receiver.
Average QB? He was one of the hottest transfers and it was thought that he might go Alabama. He is a good YOUNG QB.

He's a 5th year senior...

If you rewatch the play, Nebraska quickly collapsed the pocket and forced Prukop to move. I'm guessing he felt the pressure, moved up into the pocket, realized the pocket was collapsing and took off running. Then, he had a friendly introduction to Rose-Ivey.

No idea why they went play action there
That wasn't the only time either. I can totally see why their fan base would be upset. I was laughing out loud at what they were doing at times. Deciding to only go for two point conversions the entire game may have been one of the dumbest coaching decisions I've ever witnessed.
Well maybe that wasn't about fooling anyone into thinking it was a run. This is a young qb and maybe he hasn't learned the full playbook. Perhaps that particular play had a route he favored with his number 1 receiver and it just happened to be a play action pass. Just a thought...
Edit...he's a senior? This must be his first year starting then because they said he'd never played in a hostile stadium this size before

My bad, ESPN ducks roster had him as a freshman. Which is definitely wrong!

He transfered from Montana State.
