This is an interesting matchup. Two teams both with young talented quarterbacks on a roll. Looking forward to a good ball game. I've always loved the Rose Bowl.

All these calls going against USC, the only one that wasn't 50/50 or less that went was the targeting call. That overturned fumble recovery was pretty bad.

 
It's pathetic that OSU was in the playoffs instead of PSU.

No different than Nebraska being chosen for the NC game in 2001.

The playoff committee obviously had a hard on for urban Meyer.

I can see where the committee selected OSU, the fluky way they beat them and the loss to Michigan by 40 along with the loss to Pittsburgh, but now they're going to look more at momentum along with the other factors.

Its not as egregious as the 2001 choice, though, because of the margin of defeat.

 
So should the 2012 Alabama team been excluded from playing in the championship game? Didn't win their division. Feel pretty confident in saying the Clemson team that crushed Ohio Dtate would have beat Penn State as bad or worse.
