Florida: Over 50 infractions committed in early 1980's; TV and Bowl ban, Scholarship reduction.

Florida State: Gifts from agents to players; probation. Academic scandals; Vacation of wins, scholarship reduction.

Hart Lee Dykes (Ok St, Illinois, A&M, OU): As a High School WR four schools bid on his commitment, OSU payed $23k.

Miami: Goes without saying

UNC: Agent contact with players, players receiving benefits, academic scandal; investigation is ongoing.

LMAO of the UCLA usage of handicap decals, i used to use my friends when he broke his leg, got front row parking during my senior year of high school. No wonder my car got keyed and food thrown on it after lunch many times :ahhhhhhhh

In most cases, I'd agree, TOB. But you better believe in the Penn St case a LOT of their fans cared about the win vacation, and Joe's name being stripped from the record books. Most cases, it makes no difference, you're exactly right. In this case, however, that was certainly a not-so-veiled shot at Paterno's legacy, rightfully so, and it meant quite a bit to quite a few people out Pennsylvania way.

 
Interesting that A&M and SMU got mentioned, but nothing about Texas. Perhaps they were never officially caught, but they were just as bad as A&M and SMU with paying players in the SWC days.

If you believe Jeff? Luchs, you can probably throw the top half of the SEC in this list. I would also agree that UCLA probably doesn't deserve to be on this list.

 
The $EC is filthy dirty. They should come up with a new logo for the conference, and it should just be a giant picture of John Calipari shaking hands with Rod Blagojevich.

I just got done watching the ESPN film about SMU and it was a real eye opener on what went on during the SWC days. Texas got nailed with one year probation and that was about it. Every team in that confrence was fithy and they knew it. The SEC is using the same tactics as the SWC did but are being more careful on how they do it.
