It's bizzarro-world stuff that the country and the press are focused on a bad debate performance and completely ignoring that the other candidate has been convicted of 34 felonies, with further charges pending.

My god...the D's can't get out of their own way.

There is no way they push for her to run, is there?
I'd rather have Sleepy Joe than Giggly Kamala - and either over Corrupt Trump.

I have no desire to see Kamala as president but at least I know she would keep some of the adults in the room and would not be a dictator in the making.  I'd still prefer one of the governors to replace Biden if a replacement is needed.

Biden no longer President in a week?

Thoughts?

So then senate and house will vote on a new VP when Harris steps in?

Someone posted this in the comment section.  It seems to be a very likely path this is all going.  With large left leading media shouting for Biden to step aside, it seems like a coordinated effort to push him out and push someone in - not sure if the Dem power brokers have settled on anyone - we may end up with a 'Surprise Surprise' solution.  Harris was a poor candidate in 2020.  It appears she was pushed upon Joe as his VP pick as many reports stated Joe's first choice was Whitmer.

QUOTE:

Stage 1: Denial (Biden convincing people that he's okay and fine.)
Stage 2: Anger (Top Democrats and people close to Biden call him to give up the nomination.)
Stage 3: Bargaining (Biden said to meet with Democratic governors <----- we're here)
Stage 4: Depression (Biden meets with his family to tell the news, to the dismay of especially Jill)
Stage 5: Acceptance (Biden formally sets aside and makes way for Harris to be the nominee)

So, strategically, how does he step down?

They can't mention his mental health because the follow up questions will be something like

"So how long has his brain been bad and who has been making decisions for the country?"

That topic needs to be avoided at all costs, don't you think?

This sounds logical and with maybe Whitmer as VP to shore up Michigan

And the first 2 female ticket if it is Harris/Whitmer.  Although I'd prefer a couple of other Dem governors at the top of the ticket if I had to chose.  Govs from Ill, Ky, NC to name a few.
