The Angry Violent Right

Or.........take this family Christmas photo and simply make everyone in it Black.

Does it engender the same feeling of liberty and patriotism among 2 AM Christian Nationalists?

It's a compensating complex disorder. Which doesn't mean people who have guns, even these same guns, fall in the category. Rather those who need to constantly show off their guns, talk about their guns, use their guns for intimidation, are individuals who struggle psychologically with something they are ashamed of and think they need to compensate for it. Many of these individuals might have small peckers, can't do basic math, you name it, so they use guns hoping it will build them up somehow. And it doesn't.

For woke people like you and me, sure. But apparently not for the people who vote them into office to execute the laws of the land.

Point being, would the same people who see guns as the defining symbol of American freedom --- the people who DON'T cringe -- look at the same picture differently when it's a well-armed inner-city Black family.
It’s really just a picture that’s cringeworthy  :dunno   Those same types of pictures HAVE been posted on Twitter with black families and get positive responses from the gun loving community.  It’s really not ANOTHER race issue.

On the other hand, it really is.

While it's swell that an armed black family on Twitter got some gun-lover likes, the discrepancy between how armed blacks and armed whites are treated in open-carry states is considerable and well-documented. You know that.

No I don’t, please provide some examples of open carry race issues.

Every time people do the simple Google searches for you, you move the goalposts.

Do  you promise this time will be different?

And for f#&%'s sake, do you honestly believe Black people and White people are treated no differently in this country?

Lawyers for the COS shooting suspect are claiming they are non-binary.

I know kids that are not who do that on college apps assuming it may benefit them.

Public defenders representing Anderson Lee Aldrich, the suspect accused of killing five people and injuring 17 more in a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, over the weekend, are describing the 22-year-old in court documents as "non-binary."

Do you really know kids who are doing this on college apps?  More than one?  Even one by name?

Do you think that will give this story a spin unlike the cisgendered heterosexuality of other mass shooters?

completely unrelated to the shooting story, but people on dating apps do s#!t like this all the time. I mean, it's a very small percentage of people, but it absolutely happens - plenty of gay men put their gender as female so they show up in straight men's potential matches as an example.

I think it's pretty clear where he became radicalized against this particular group.
Yeah... pretty telling. Imagine finding out your son killed people at a gay bar and one of your initial concerns/comments is trying to determine if he was gay himself.

Yikes.

It also doesn't help that this murderer's mother has a history of alcohol dependence/abuse and a severe personality disorder. It doesn't excuse his choices, but it paints a pretty clear picture of how we ended up where we did.

Hey pops imagine your son was gay but didn't kill five people and injure 19 and wasn't going to spend the rest of his life behind bars

Pops, "mbmbbmm something something he's not gay whew mbmbbmm something something".
