Multiple story lines: Candy cane alternate stripping for the fans (who all got the message?)

Gross (sp?) spurns Donu to take the Illinois job (fortuitous for US it happened)

Can a true freshman (Shields) continue to lead this team now that opponents can spotlight him?

Which Illinois team shows up? The top ten team earlier this season.....or the 20% shooting 3 point shooting team that is desperate?

Potential big week for the Huskers. 2 "winnable' games at home.

The alternate striping sounds like fun, though it would seem to be a tad bit difficult to organize. But ultimately, this is a very winnable game for this team. Should be interesting to see which corresponding teams for both sides show tonight. I think the guys still have the potential for 6 wins in conference, but they have to take advantage of every opportunity, and they've really let a couple get by them already this year. Still, having fun this season, for sure. :D
