Touché haha it was too easy for my smart mouth to resist. I will admit its a clever idea and +1'd it
Next time, resist. Let's keep that stuff in the politics forum.

I know there was a thread from the Sparty game as well as the Ohio State game. I'll start it off with this:

That is a very cool video for you guys. I know you take pride in it, but its pretty cool when a visiting university president stands there and wants to put it on video. Just wish they would have spelled his name correctly on the video.

I think this is one of the great publicity videos you guys have, the video of when he thinks taping is done is better than when he knew he was being filmed; he was speaking from the heart, so-to-speak. Same end, just a bit more emotion involved.

Southern Miss fan here,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the great fans and people of Nebraska. The long drive to Lincoln was well worth it. Although I wish the outcome had been a little closer, everything I had been told about the way that you welcome and treat opposing fans was completly true. My family and I have never felt more at home and welcomed. Everyone was so nice and thanked us for coming, invited us to tailgate and helpful in getting us where we needed to be. We even went to the bookstore and bought six "Huskers" shirts for our family, including my daughters, who said they will wear them on USM campus Monday. I hope that if you ever come to Hattiesburg someday we can return the same hospitality that you showed us. Oh, and Misty's was a great place to eat, so thanks for the advice. The Yeates Family or Canton, Ms.

I assume from reading this, none of them ran into any of you. Had to.

It is great to read and see these types of comments. That is Nebraska, the way every college game should be. And I might add that there are many on here that make visiting fans feel very welcome. You guys do a good a job of representing Nebraska.

I don't know Ron but I want to echo what he said. My son is a student trainer at sm and travels to many of the away games. For the past year all he can talk about is how well they were treated by the same group of kids from your school and he could not get over the folks sitting in the end zones clapping even for them as they removed equipment from the field.

I had to experience this myself so the wife and I made that long drive, stopping in Branson for a few days. As we crossed the state line at Neb City a pickup with a huskers plate on the front passed us and gave us a wave and thumbs up. When we arrived the holiday inn near the stadium, a car window rolls down and a guy asked if we had a good trip up. The man checking in next to us extended a hand and said Welcome to Nebraska.

The older guys who work the gates are absolutely the best.

Ive hurt some feelings with the walmart sec fans here at home telling them they could all take some lessons from Nebraska fans.

In regards to the #36 helmet decals worn honoring UCLA's Nick Pasquale:
Been visiting nebraska boards for quite a while and know a few huskers personally. They have by far been the most classy and humble fanbase I have known as a college sports fan. It comes to me as no surprise they would do something like this. They are a good bunch and I will always wish em well.
Also just realized the max number of quote tags rule is going to make this difficult. Blah.

There was an article after the MSU game in 2011 that had maybe a booster for the spartans telling of his amazing trip to Lincoln. Great read if anyone can come up with it.

I wanna see some UCLA fans on my ride to class soon so I can throw some tomatoes at them and then we can finally have some complaints for once.

OR... Oh, this is better.

I'll just yell something like "Good luck to your Trojans tomorrow!"

Hopefully they don't respond back with, "You mean when we have sex with all your girlfriends afterwards?"

That doesn't sound like much fun.
