The CSU Bakersfield Roadrunners vs. The Fighting Erstads

To take a page from huKSer's book, I'm getting a jump on this thread to make sure the title is right.

CSU Bakersfield Season Stats:

Didn't realize CSU Bakersfield going to the WAC in 2013. Good for them.

SOS for CSU Bakersfield is 175, their RPI is 163. Nebraska has a SOS of 97, with a RPI of 53.

I have a feeling that this series and the Creighton win will help the Fighting Erstads get over their blues from losing the Purdue series. :)

Should be a sweep of this series. Overall I've been pleased with this season. My expectations were loose at the beginning of the year. I def wanted to win the B1G. In all reality we just dont have the talent here to get that accomplished without a couple of miracles. I look forward to see what Erstad and Co. put together over the next couple of seasons.

BTW, folks, Saturday's game will be broadcast on BTN.com live or NET if you're lucky enough to be still living in God's own pastoral paradise, Nebraska; tonight's game and Sunday's game can be seen on HuskersNSide, and they happen to have a free three-day trial going on currently:

Watching the game. I kinda like this Kubat kid. Doesn't waste any time on the mound, he gets the ball back and 5 seconds later its back in the catchers glove. Can't really complain about baseball being slow and boring when hes on the mound.

Hopefully, that means we've found a potential Friday starter. Have to see him a couple more times before making that call, but it sounds like it went well for him today. Be nice to have a good chance in Friday games if that's the case. That and it'd be nice to have that headed into the B1G tournament.
