the dennard PI

Imo was as bad and as costly as the roughing the passer. Correct me if wrong but all i saw when i went back and watched was their wr grabbing his arm. Did I miss anything? And that was 3rd down right?

If Dennard was flagged for just one PI all game, I do believe that one was pretty obvious.

Dennard had his arm across him and wasn't looking back at the under thrown ball, that's what the ref saw. The A&M receiver did pull him back to get back to the under thrown ball. Offensive pass interference hardly ever gets called. What pissed me off was when they threw the flag on what would have been our TD drive, then decided to pick it up and say no pass interference happened. When's the last time you ever saw that happen?

It's obvious Fonz was trying to make a play on the ball but the receiver was holding his arm to his body. Bo saw it, the whole nation did, just like everyone else.

Maybe that was it. I thought he turned his head late

He had his arm on the receiver impeding his progress. I knew a flag was coming before the flag was thrown unfortunately. The only really bad call that was made that I saw was the Osborne late hit, but there were at least a dozen missed A&M penalties that I saw. It was epic, I think these officials should be in the BCS top 10.

As the rule is said, what the am defender did was Pass Interference. a defender cannot put his hands on or grab a receiver in order to make a play on the ball. obviously that particular side judge saw that and threw the necessary flag and the officials little meeting changed it.

How was his arm impeading progress? It was even touching him until the wr grabbed it. It least it looked that way when i went back a watched it. Anyone have video of it?

If you are referring to my post, i was was responding to the post above his. I should have qouted him......

I was. I saw that they both mentioned arm-grabbing and went back to change my post. I was a little confused by the post above yours for a sec :)

The Dennard PI was awful (to stay on topic ;) ). Even the announcers said that it looked like Offensive PI.

Dennard didn't even touch the texas a&m receiver...the only thing that happened on that play was the receiver pushing off by shoving dennards shoulder...It pisses me off how offensive PI is missed soooooo many times in college football. It happens just as much as defensive PI...just not called as much.

Yea Dennard had two PI calls if i remember correctly, the first one was BS, but the second one was warranted because he never turned around to look for the ball. Pretty sure if he had, Dennard may have gotten an INT for the underthrown ball.

To me the ball was so under thrown that Fuller wouldnt have caught it even with him pushing Dennard out of the way. Dennard had no idea the ball was under thrown, because he was face guarding which last i checked was legal in college football. that call on him was BS.

To me it shouldve been a no call.
