The Depth Chart is Out

I am guessing Steve's injury hurt him :bang
I bet it hurt too.

nah, but seriously, he Will see plenty of playing time, and will end up with the starting spot IMO, he just missed some practice.... I still think he will be a force to be reckoned with. If not that speaks volumes about Ruud's abilities... We are stacked!

Per Callahan's press conference, Menelik Holt will play this year. They really like this guy. He apparantly is built like a senior. A big strong boy who can jump and run with just about anyone.

It looks like the depth chart is very much written in pencil. It is nice to see spots with players who are backups who could start other places.

Still confused on the I Back spot

I wonder how much stock the coaches really put into the word "starter" this year. It looks like all the players on that chart will play

In the same breath that Callahan talked about Holt seeing some action this year, Callahan said the same about Chris Brooks. He should see some time.

I hope Rudd is starting just because Steve was injured

because I beleive Rudd was one of the upteen miss tackles

on Wilson's run.

1. Lucky 2. Glenn 3. Jackson 4. Wilson
I thought it meant Lucky and Glenn are Co #1's and Jackson and Wilson are Co #2's.
Maybe...i anticipate we will see alot of 2 back sets as well as the 4 of them seeing carries.
I hope so, at least get all of them in game situations and with the opportunity to tote the rock a few times. Then in the game, maybe someone will separate themselves from the pack.

I'm really surprised to see Fluellen at #2 behind Jones at corner.
I don't know if there are too many bodies at corner for him not to be. Besides, he is a senior and been in the system a few years, despite his recent switch. Hopefully he can be productive and provide decent depth.

I was surprised to see Spain in front of Brothers too. That makes me a little nervous about our corner positions unless we tend to put an extra safety out on the field in nickle and dime situations.
