for all the bitching and complaining that will undoubtedly come, for all the "he should have done this or he should have done that"........i saw what is the future of our team......this team and it's coaches are destined to become great.......today we experienced the "growing pains' on the way to greatness.....without a doubt the best "team effort" to date.......i am proud of our guys and all the effort given and "never-say-die-attitude"......those who know football recognized the same thing......... :clap :clap :clap

Hunter, you are the man! Who would have thought down 21-0 that we would witness the game we did. The Huskers have HEART and a lot of it.

Some will "b!^@h" about the defensive player not going down after the interception.

Well, as I see it, he's a BLACKSHIRT that did his job. He's also a young man that got caught up in the moment and wanted to contribute to the winning effort of his team.

I am not upset at all about the loss. I was very impressed in what I saw for the past 3 hours.

My hat is off to the team and the Coaching Staff; they have MORE than proven themselves to me and they definately have the meddle to be called CORNHUSKERS!

Without a doubt, the team played with great heart, and gave a great effort.

I disagree that these coaches are gonna make this program great. The O worked well at times, and the Dline put pressure on the QB, other than that, this was a very average game from a coaching standpoint.

The future certainly looks bright.

We'll see if the big red's chemistry will help them bounce back.

I'm still heartbroken... :(

You were dropped on your head several times during your youth?

Former, sometimes you can say some really good things; and other times you really know how to "crash the party".

You MAKE NO SENSE! On another thread you stated you would welcome in Stoopfied yet he got his a$$ handed to him today! This same Great coach that refused to start his young QB last year because he was more worried about running up the score! The same coach that relies on one person to win a ball game. That person being Pederson! Yet you refuse to give credit to these coaches for turning around a program that couldn't pass under the Solich era if his life and in our cases games depended on it! Again your BS posts goes noticed!

First since I dont really understand what you just said, lets get things straight.

Stoops won 1 NC, and played in 2 other NC games, after taking over a team that was I think 4-7 the year before he was hired.

billy c. took over a team that had gone 10-3 the year before, and led them to a 5-6 season. So they have had 2 okay offensive games this year, and I couldnt give a rats butt if they can pass or not.

Personally, I prefer the turnaround that Stoops had at OU, opposed to the one that billy c has led at NU, or do you enjoy getting passing yards, yet losing??

Your hatred for the coaching staff continue to cloud your judgement. That's sad considering this is the coaching staff that put together a gameplan that came back from a 21-0 deficit, even AFTER they turned the ball over 5 times

HAHA 10-3 team. Is that the same team that beat 7 of its 11 opponents who did not make a bowl game that year? :rollin :rollin

Funny thing is, that years schedule was tougher than this years :thumbs

As oppose to what there FormerFan? Racking up all those nice rushing yards yet to lose to teams that we were supposed to beat? It's a two way street! I was referring to your post http://www.huskerboard.com/forums/index.ph...?showtopic=5237 welcoming in Stoopfied. You say ole Stoops turns around a program that PLAYED for the title game LAST YEAR yet he takes that same team which was 12-0 and turns them back into a BIG OLE 2-3! I would love to hear your excuse for why Stoopfied is losing this year? He is not a replacement coach but the HC as you explained and I quote

Yep things are looking bright for him aren't they?? Looks like Stoopfied is back to the 4-7 record after all!

The season isnt over, yet. As far as what is wrong at OU, injuries, inexperience, loss of some great assistant coaches, to name a few.
