Really tired of somebody bringing up LP every time there is a disaplinary problem. This young man had just rushed for 250+ yards against Michigan State and then his world started to crumbel. I don't condone violence against women in any way but from the other side of the mirror what I have heard is that relationshipwas physically violent on both sides. When he came back he took off from right where he left off and the performance he put on in the Fiesta Bowl was only overshadowed by a brilliant performance from Tommie Frazier. Eddie George was a good RB but there were two better football players in the country that year. Since leaving Nebraska LP's life has continued to spiral downward att a raapid rate. His life was a shipwreck and I for one pitty him. What a waste of an incredible talent. To get back to the original point its time to get off his back.

I think he was being facetious.

Also, that's not entirely accurate about LP. If you watch the games when he came back in '95, he was clearly above his early season playing weight and he had lost a step. He didn't come back on strong until he had the month off before the Fiesta Bowl to get back into a groove.

Wow...thanks for the shout out, HuskerShark! Well...first off...I'd like to thank God, my producers, my manager, and of course, the Huskers, who without them, I wouldn't be here. I'd also like to thank Bucky for being so interested in my profile that he scanned it religiously for whatever reason, and then would get defensive when I asked him why.

Guess I shouldn't have taken a day off so I could listen to the baseball broadcast and not know what happened. Especially with the outcome.
