The Greatest Catch Ever?

The Koolaid is flowing hard around this place. Personally I think this one and many others are just as good. Yes I know it's Alabama.

That bama catch went through my mind too! It's hard to say, westercamps catch was cool, but had no impact on the game

I wouldn't put it in any conversation of greatest catch ever. It's in the top 5 of 'most unique' catches I've ever seen, but I think I personally define greatness by things that have a notable impact on an important game, and that are also the result of incredible skill moreso than crazy luck (which isn't to say that it's either or; Jordan definitely displayed skill with that catch).

Agree. It was a spectacular play, but it had no impact on the game or any championship.

Prothro's catch immediately came to my mind as the best. The kid from Stanford last year I believe had a catch that I'd put second behind Prothro.

I second the Prothro's catch. In the context of the TD, game etc..... BUT Westy's was one of the most unique and unbelievable I have seen. Behind the back, after going through a defenders hands, while tight roping the side line. Damn, it was special.

I'd put the Westerkatch up against any freakish circus catch. Evar. It just didn't happen when there was anything on the line is all. Not his fault.
