The Greatest Myth in College Football

This is just getting ridiculous.

Look, I'm not going to defend Bo Pelini, especially in light of another no-show on a National Stage. Pelini is a great pregame planner and more often than not, he has the right idea of what to do in most situations, but that does not abstain him from the absolute mockery Nebraska football has been made into as of late. With that said, the article I had planned on writing is already out of date because two very obnoxious things happened today. While separate in scope and impact, they both resonate nationally and help me in my debunking of one of the great myths: that Nebraska is truly home to the Greatest Fans in College Football.

Here's a clue to everyone with their panties in a twist about the "Greatest Fans" thing: It's as real and serious as this mug:

But.. but... knapp, the Husker Fan said a cross word! The Husker Fan wasn't sunshine and daisies at a time I felt they should be!!! What do you say about that?

I say who cares. Screw you and your stupid agenda.

Governor of Nebraska if he chose? hilarious. This guys obviously does not know Tommie. This is the sad part of that whole situation on the National stage. Most outside Nebraska see Tommie simply as a legend, and that his presence is god like. We here IN Nebraska know that is not the case and that Tommie is nothing more than a, well, that's been pretty well documented already.

Worst of all, the ugly petty side of Nebraska fans is now wide open for the world to see, which is fantastic.
You're talking about a small percentage of the Nebraska fan base. Every fan base has those off the wall, irrational, and petty fans who think their opinion actually f'ing matters.
