Perhaps it's a question with no answer. Who is Nebraska's best defender in the secondary?

Voted Hagg, only because Carl Pelini has said on multiple occasions that if he had to start a defense from scratch, he'd take Hagg first. But they're all beasts. Or, as Tom Shatel puts it, they're all "flying ninjas."

I seriously cannot answer this question. It's almost a week to week thing with this group.

Prince, Hagg, Dennard IMO. Gomes has been a real playmaker too, but I don't think he's at the same level of pure talent as the other 3. Prince has got to be a #1.

I took Thenarse. He must be great. WRs often lay on the ground for a couple of minutes after the play, thinking about how great Ricky is.

All are integral cogs in the Blackshirt machine. All are great coverage guys, all are equally aggressive, all are very smart and know the system, and they all know how to tackle in the open field. IMO it comes down to who has the best playmaking ability, and based on that you can basically flip a coin between Prince and Gomes as the top guys in the secondary. I went with Gomes because he's been more of a game-changer (INTs in key moments vs Mizzou, Texas and Idaho, forced fumble vs Kansas).

What are we going to do next year when we lose most of our secondary?

Amukamara

Gomes

Haag

Thenarse

Gotta go with Prince. No one will even throw his way anymore, when they rarely do he breaks it up.
