The Horrific Big Ten officiating and how to fix it!!

Officiating has been horrid all across college football this year. Its not limited to the B1G
I agree. What I don't understand with the few officiating sucks threads is that it did not alter the outcome. The phantom personal foul on the Abdullah run was incorrect, and I feel bad an exciting play for a touchdown was nullified. But everything that occurred after that was so darn exciting, including an OT walk off FG. That's the bottom line. Very happy that the players and coaches got to enjoy that kind of win. I know I did.

If Harvey Perlman or Shawn Eichorst have an effin clue, they would stand up for the program. Sadly, I doubt they care enough and don't recognize how it hurts the players and program.
I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS
I have lurked on this board for a long time. Posted some.

I have come out of hiding to say, "I see what you did there!"

There are some horrible calls in the NFL every week, too.

I can't tell if it's any better or worse in any conference, or compared to any previous year.

But it does get in your craw when it almost costs your team the game.

Then again, the Huskers may have been the bad call beneficiary against Penn State last year.

And we were really lucky to have Taylor's pick-six in the fourth quarter against MSU called back.

A little OT, but did you see that call against the Rams on Sunday on the hit on the Bears' QB?

Geez...

Fix the officiating crews by scoring so many points their ineptness doesn't effect the W/L outcomes.
Yes. This is exactly the solution Im hoping for. +1

Since officials are to be considered "part of the field", that's what they say when they interfere with the play, what penalty could possibly be called on a pulling guard or downfield TE who goes Zebra Hunting on the play following a bad penalty call?

How about replace them with this.

The calls will still be bad. But at least they'd be worth looking at.
