Some of the story lines started last night;

1-President Heller has a rapid onset dementia/alzheimers type thing going on.

2-His chief of staff (married to Audrey-Jacks old flame) has a hard on for Jack, and of course has the full force of the US intelligence and military communities to make things tough on Jack. Hard to tell if he's going to end being a good guy or bad guy.

3- Chloe and her whole anti-government, wiki leaks, freedom of information group thing.

4- The moral dilemma of using drones and the possibility of terrorists taking control of them.

5- Like usual, the London CTU station has one capable person, who Jack is already taking a shine to, but everyone else seems to be half assed screw ups.

Seems like I'm missing a few more.....

Did anybody really think he was going to be speaking to the President? I hope that part was a joke, otherwise...

Jack always has direct access to the President. However, I did not think he would be speaking to him in the first two hours. I will be amazed if he doesn't talk to the pres and utter those very words before the twelve hours are up.

24 Live Another Day is only going to be 12 one hour episodes. They are going to skip certain hours or chunks of hours and still cover a 24 hour period of time but there will only be half as many shows as a normal season.

Yeah, hard to see her face without getting the mental image of her shreiking when Rob was killed and her own throat being slashed. Unfortunate casting timing.....

Pretty lame 3rd hour. They need to crank up the action and sense of urgency before this follows the footsteps of the last two seasons.
