The Lions Den

Skull&Bones

Five-Star Recruit
I think all the media criticism, fan complaining and verbal attacks is not all that bad.

Is it the right thing to do? Probably not.

Did it piss Bo, Taylor and the rest of the team off? Probably absolutely!!

They know in order to shut all these naysayers up what needs to be done. Destroy their opponents on the field.

This team rallies behind the "us against the world" mentality.

Maybe this team needed awake up call.

Maybe this team is sitting in the film room right now pissed off at the world watching the

licking their chops.
I think Ohio St. is walking into the lions den come Saturday night.

Go Big Red!!!

It seemed to have worked last year after the Texas game. But then again, the Texas game was a 6 point loss. The Wiscy loss was behind the woodshed.

There's always a huge sh#tstorm the week after a big loss. Hopefully all of this turmoil can be a rallying point for the team this week, as if they need more motivation for a home game against THEE ohio state university in the first home Big Ten conference game. I hope they come out angry. Like, irate. And just beat the living sh#t out of every single Buckeye player.

very true. you could look back on the Texas game and see no less than a dozen ways that game could have gone in our favor. Prior to that we'd dominated Washington and K-State, and took care of WK and Idaho like we should have. Wisconsin on the other hand was a complete beat down. And it followed a couple of other games that were less than impressive. They may be pissed, but they aren't walking abound w/ the same swagger they had prior to Wisconsin. being humbled is one thing. being humiliated is another. a lack of confidence could be an issue this week.

Also, on an unrelated note; I just walked to lunch (wearing my regular Friday Husker t-shirt). I work in one of the nicer areas of KC, in the elite entertainment/shopping disctict (so theres a ton of people walking the streets shopping). I was heckled twice on my way to Firehouse Subs, and also by the guy making my sub. I'm not a professional athlete, I shouldn't be subjected to that kind of treatment. I'm not paid millions a year to wear my Husker t-shirt. It's a "shame" :P
