The Mock Season Begins!

The draft results for the 2008 Spring/Summer seasons are complete and both head coaches are pleased with the results

“I think with the players I’ve been stuck with we will do an excellent job in all aspects of the game….hey! Who picked that dagnabit sea o’ red son of a…is that thing still on? You f*cking hillbilly?” commented Red Team Head Coach Bill Callahan…

“I’m the freaking head coach and they still wouldn’t let me be the #1 draft choice…”added Huskerfan500, field general for the White Team.

A glance down the list of selections yields a few surprises.

“Yeah…well every ship needs an anchor…” commented Callahan “even the Titanic had an anchor…of course that anchor is now laying useless on the ocean bed….that’s why we picked sarge87 in the first round. He’s like the Titanic’s anchor”

When asked about the White Team first round pick Huskerfan500 said “He’s got Dish Network and a lot of beer in the fridge…you know…intangibles I look for in a player”

If everything goes according to schedule, players will be evaluated this week and positions will be settled by both head coaches. The first game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 10.

i just got off the phone with my boy Bill Callahan and he said he could use me..

put me on the Red Team so it's even , 15-15 , I'm 5.925 and weighed 169 lbs. this morning , bench 290 and squat 135 lbs. .. also run the 40 in 4.97 .. unless i fall over cuz i'm top-heavy <_<

Mock League Rocked by Scandal

Head Coach, Cy forced of Red Team As Practice Begins

The Mock league was shocked to learn today that the head coach for the Red Team, Bill Callahan, was heavily involved with the theft of the Nebraska season last year. The hopes for a great season came up missing during the NU - USC game last fall. Callahan along with fellow suspect Kevin Cosgrove, were questioned extensively throughout the year but it was not until today that Callahan was officially charged with the theft.

In a related note...Cy the Cyclone, star athlete and a key part of the upcoming season for Red...was dismissed from the team amid rumors of an "unnatural" fondness toward farm animals. When questioned, Cy maintained his innocence, claiming the object of his affection was NOT a farm animal but an ISU cheerleader. The investigation is ongoing

In the interim...Cy's place on the roster will be filled by bobeliever...a typical underachiever who is probably from Cozad.... <_< bobeliever will also take over the duties of head coach. See revised roster below:
