I remember Lavonte David talked a little bit about Slaughter and Santos during fall camp last year. Pretty impressive to rack up over 250 tackles in your junior and senior season at the high school level and to only be 5'11" 195 lbs. I do hope he adds some weight though during winter conditioning.



Kid has good speed off the edge, good instincts when to jump the snap count and who to tackle when into the backfield. Good motor and doesn't give up. But for those who though David was undersized, this guy is even more undersized.

Love you buddy, you're gonna have a huge year next year, I can feel it. Starting again in the Spring Game. I think me and my friends were the first guys on the Eric bandwagon...we jumped on it like the 2nd or 3rd game his freshman year (2009). We made signs and brought them to the 2009 BigXII Championship vs Texas and got on TV when he blocked that punt lol:

I hope Seisay works out for everyone's sake, not just the Huskers. Seems like an awful lot of desperate souls are jumping onto a bandwagon than hasn't been with the team for 2 weeks.

 
Would love to see Carnes or Turner step up and make a real statement saying that they are ready to challenge and bench Martinez. Would also like to see a young back show something so that we know we have one other than Burkhead, since we really don't see anything in the running game other than Martinez and Burkhead.

Hard to really evaluate a lot during the spring game though, since they don't really get to get that physical since they don't want the injuries. I know Bo says they are going to go 100%, but I know it is probably more like 80% when it comes to getting physical. Especially with those darn green jerseys that the QB wear.

we are desperate to replace David, supposedly this guy has some of his abilities and Bo has had some success with JUCO transfers....we'll see.
