Pelini was brought in as HC w/ a reputation as a defensive genius... I think that's now been disproven.

It's almost as if his pedigree gave him a leg up and now everyone else has caught up and passed him.

He did coach some amazing defenses in his early years... I can't figure out why it's all fallen apart these last few years...

Agreed! I can drive to Fresno... Had front row tickets right behind the Nebraska bench for like $70! It was amazing...
