Oh come on. We ran plenty under Callahan. We were also -able- to run it against some cupcakes. The real test for our running game will come later this season.

Yeah we ran some but as soon as we were down by a touchdown we would crawl into a hole and pass like there's no tomorrow.

As it turned out, there wasn't really a tomorrow. And there weren't many "down by just a touchdown" moments. An example of passing like there's no tomorrow, despite having the game well locked down, would be the WMU game this year.

Anyways, good job on the KO coverage...tried a trick and we didn't fall for it. I was worried there for a sec; these guys are supposed to be fast.

 
Hey guys, just got home....it sounds like they like started out as usual but buckled down. Hopefully they will continue to be able to run it down their throats!!!!!

 
It does seem like Will Compton is heading for a redshirt, despite coming out of fall camp 2nd on the depth chart. Possibly trying to save an extra year of eligibility for him. Must not be a great drop-off between him and Colton Koehler.
