D played well overall, if we hold on to that pick it's likely a shut-out. This Purdue O had been putting up good points under Appleby and they had a bi to work with.

 
Thought we did a better job in the second qtr going against the wind where we were running. Obvious game plan today is throw with and run against

 
Yeah the coach of Maryland said "let the rivalry begin" at the post game interview on the field. I got to see that instead while the Huskers were blocking a punt and scoring their first td

yeah, but thats why instead of having 3 wide outs, you have one, run two TE's, a FB, and run the ball down their throats...

Not only that, but having a Fullback serves multiple purposes. He can be your lead blocker, an extra running threat, or a receiving threat. Plus because he is in the backfield he can insert himself anywhere into the line once the ball is snapped, thus changing the gaps & responsibilities for the defense to cover.
