Bevo's name originates from a 13-0 loss to aTm in 1915. It takes a certain amount of humility to keep the name when it was aTm students who branded that score on the Texas mascot. So, good job of being had by aTm and keeping the tradition alive :)

I do have to say, I was pulling for texas in that game, only because i wanted to see usc get put in their place that season

 
I don't like to give Texas credit for anything, but I will give them credit for the region doing the best bbq brisket. While other areas like Memphis, KC, North & South Carolina are known for their Q, no area does brisket as well Texas.

There.....I said something nice about the SOB's.

Weed was really, really cheap when I lived there in High School. And while I was randomly assaulted while walking down the street at various times, I was never murdered, even though it seemed possible a couple times. You take what you can get when you live down there...

Seriously though, three cool things: Austin, Brisket, and the Butthole Surfers.
