Last with those teams. And OSU and Georgetown are not opening up unless Matta/JT3 leave voluntarily. Matta is not getting canned after 1 bad year. And JT3 should go, but the admin will not pull the trigger as Big John still has a lot of influence on the Hoyas.Okay, lets see...we will have to assume a bit BUT if these jobs open up...
Indiana
Ohio State
Illinois
Georgetown
NC-State (open for sure)
Those are the Power 5 ones that I can think of...where does Nebraska fall in the pecking order for coaches?

It seems Cuanzo Martin is on the move a lot. Not sure why though because the teams he leaves behind are really good.Cuanzo can recruit good, but not sure he can coach
And there's this. Porter Jr is #2 recruit in the country. Committed to Washington (who fired Romar).
Honestly, the SEC is a much easier conference than the Big Ten. Plus, there's less direct competition for the talent in Missouri than there is in Chicago. To be coach at Missouri:
Crean wasn't liked in Bloomington, and I am not surprised he was fired.I'm surprised that Tom Crean was canned. Yeah they had a disappointing season but they've generally been pretty good the last few years. Would Nebraska ever consider bringing him in here? Hope not can't stand the guy! Loved the highlight of him getting run over on the sidelines vs Michigan.

Supposedly, according to Barfknecht at the OWH, the Ginger Assassin reached out to Crean's agent to gague Crean's interest in the NU job, before Eichorst announced Miles was returning for 2017-18.
