Youre operating under the assumption that small business would be able to compete with corporations in this fantasy world. Corporations would stomp out small business in a heartbeat.

Complete fallacy...

First of all, I'll clarify that I'm absolutely NOT anarchist. That ideology is as utopian as communism/socialism. However, as the founders in their incredible historical wisdom intended, the federal government is a necessary evil and therefore should be limited to the absolute minimal scope necessary. One of those ACTUAL legitimate responsibilities of the federal government should be to break up monopolies. So that's point #1.

Point #2: small business would be able to compete MUCH easier than it currently can with all the burdensome regulations & barriers to entry that exist in most industries. Higher minimum wage, regulations, licenses, and higher corporate taxes disproportionately harm small businesses exponentially more than large corporations. 

 
This is a good read on the subject of Private Roads.

Auto manufacturers would build pollution control equipment into cars, and advertise how cleanly they run.  Automakers do this already, but under the gun of a government that mandates pollution levels and what kind of pollution controls manufacturers use. Without government interference, engineers would be free to compete to provide different technologies to reduce costs and improve horsepower while providing cleaner burning engines.

I can just dream of how joyful it would be to have to pay a corporation to have driveway access off of their private road and how much that would cost or how their terms of service contracts would be.  Can only imagine all of the barricaded driveways due to missing a monthly payment.  Want your kids to be able to access the gated sidewalks to walk or ride their bike to school?  There's a daily usage fee for that. 

You know a corporation would never buy up all of the roads around schools and go crazy with the congestion pricing fees to get to and from schools every morning. I mean they don't do that now with prescription medications or anything.

In 2018 it was 376:1

In 2007/8, the best and brightest of the executive class crashed the world economy. Trillions of dollars of other people's money vanished overnight. And these fukkers walked away with bonuses. 

Every time a billionaire convinces a working class American that billionaires are being unfairly victimized, an angel gets its wings ripped off.

Business owners accept bribes and funnel money to themselves. Difference is, I can vote a politician out of office. I can't vote the guy who owns the street outside my house out of office, nor do I have any other option than to use that street. So I'm at the mercy of a monopoly if I don't have publicly-funded streets.

It's fun to pretend business would run the world better than properly-elected officials. But it's pure fantasy. No society has ever functioned that way.  That's not an accident.
