It's easy to be critical of a coordinator when their unit isn't playing well. The Pelini's aren't getting criticized because what are you going to criticize, other than their temper? Their unit is performing on the field. If the defense wasn't performing, people would be plenty critical of that coordinator (Kevin Cosgrove, anyone?)It is much easier to be critical of an offensive cord as opposed to a defensive cord. Every one of us can watch a game and say well that play didnt work, while it is much more difficult to say why a deffensive call didnt work. That's the game of football, and offensive coordinators every where get killed when things dont work. Im not sticking up for Wats, but I dont think he's done a bad job either.
